PT Shenhua Guohua Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (SGPJB)

PT Shenhua Guohua Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (SGPJB) is a joint venture company between China Energy Investment Group (70%) and Indonesia’s State Electricity Company (PLN) subsidiary company PLN Nusantara Renewables (30%), which is officially established on January 13, 2016 to build Jawa 7 Coal-Fired Power Plant (Jawa 7). Jawa 7 was built under Independent Power Producer (IPP) Scheme with the capacity of 2 x 1.050 Mega Watt/Unit, located in Terate Village, Kramatwatu District, Serang Regency, Banten Province, Indonesia and start operate commercially on December 13, Jawa 7 is the first and largest CFPP in Indonesia using Ultra Super Critical boiler technology with low calorie coal of 4,000 – 4,600 kcal/kg AR and a competitive tariff of 4.2122 cents USD/kWh.

As part of China Energy Group’s overseas investment project in Indonesia through the “Belt and Road Initiative”, Management is highly committed to promoting environmentally friendly development by implementing Clean Coal Technology (CCT), ensuring the operation of Jawa 7 CFPP is safe, economical, and clean with efficiency for reliable electricity supply in the Java-Madura-Bali transmission system thus supporting the Green Development.
